It is located deep in Parvati valley, which will elevate you to 2950 m. for easily access to kasol, kheerganga; if you are planning to travel by public transport from new delhi, take a overnight volvo bus from majnu ka tila or ashram metro station. Or you can take HRTC volvo from ISBT kashmere gate. All buses are scheduled in the evening and drop you at bhuntar bus stand, at around 7 in the morning. from where it separates you from kullu valley to parvati valley. It is also the point of confluence between the Beas river and Parvati river.
Take another bus to reach barshaini which will take you deep into the parvati valley, it will traverse you through kasol also. The last bus to Barshaini leaves at 2 to 3 pm. You can have breakfast in the meantime before catching the bus. It usually takes 3 to 3 hours to reach barshaini, which is the last point for motorable roads. Only small local vehicles take part from here till tosh village, through a small road which is almost 3 km’s from barshaini. If you want to buy any essentials it is recommended to buy from barshaini. There are dhabas, wine shops and few staying options. Your trek to kheerganga starts from tosh village which will give you immense happiness and adventure.
If you want to stay for the day you can stay in these villages and hotels, though kasol has many idealistic cottages and resorts, which is 1 hour before barshaini. The parvati river flowing in the valley is so thunderistic and flows just beside barshaini and tosh village.

Kasol kheerganga trek is one of the idealistic treks among the youths and teenagers, which will reward you with a natural hot water spring at an altitude of more than 10000 ft. it is truly a unique Himalayan trek which will take you deep in Parvati valley along with Parvati river. Witnessing the wilderness, walking through oak and pine forests, and crossing many ledges and the snowy Himalayan peaks in the backdrop will continue cheering you up. There are many temples and waterfalls in between your trails. Kasol kheerganga trek is not just a one time place, trekking here will definitely call you back. The snow capped mountains and the breathtaking vistas are perfectly decorated by the creator. The 14 km trail from tosh village, which will lead you to forest and then mesmerising meadows of kheerganga. The cherry on top is the parvati kund, which can make you overcome the fatigue of the hike.
HOW TO EXECUTE?
If you are planning to trek on the same day then it will only be possible if you reach barshaini somehow before 9 in the morning. It takes 3 to 4 hours to trek to the summit. So by noon or 1 pm you can reach the Parvati Kund, explore it for a while and start the descent by 3 pm. It usually takes half of the time in comparison to ascending. But staying for the day in the valley and exploring the local markets and nearby attractions is preferable.
Start your trek on day2, cross the bridge from barshaini and take left, head towards nakthan village, to be more specific you will be walking on the left of Parvati river. The route till nakthan village is well marked and majorly used by locals and trekkers.
From Nakthan, cross another bridge and take the right and hike till Kalga village. From kalga, there are two routes, one is short but it can twist you, it is used only by professional trekkers.

It is recently getting attraction among the youth and one of the desirable places to visit. There are many beautiful cafes in tosh and barshaini which are amazingly decorated.
