It is a place that has its religious significance, attraction, charm, and adventure along with the beauty that can be praised.
Bhrigu lake, one of the attractions of Himachal, has all the things that can attract tourists to stay here and enjoy the beautiful valley while trekking.

Itinerary:
- One should first reach Manali to be at this place. It is just 20 km away from it.
- Manali to the next place will be Jonker Thatch where you have to stay at night and watch your destination in your dreams.
- From Jonker Thatch, the next campsite is Rola Kholi. From here, Bhrigu Lake is not far away.
The whole distance is around 25 km and you will find beautiful meadows in front of your eyes.
Importance:
This place has its own value. According to Hindu mythology, Maharishi Bhrigu, a renowned saint took meditation near this lake because this lake is known as Bhrigu lake.
Hindu people still worship this place as a pious one and believe that this place has some divine bliss or power.
Key features:
This place is an Alpine meadow area free from the treeline. At such a height, one rarely found big canopies. However, lush green carpets ranging from coarse to fine can be found as one starts its journey toward Bhrigu Lake.
Being at this height, one can see the peaks of the Pir Panjal range and Dhauladhar range that surround the lake from all around.
The best month to trek here is Monsoon from July to September as before you hardly find grasslands for which one should be here and after this, all the area would be covered with heavy snow in which the trekking will be difficult.
The lake is shallow and small in nature, however, it still reflects back the mountains around. The clouds sometimes reach near its water and one will definitely feel like being in heaven for a while.
The trek will take 4-5 days and the altitude is approximately 14,000 ft. At such a height, one would definitely feel like they are on top of the sky.
The trek level is easy but still, I feel it is the potential of humans to walk that determines the level. So, it can be of any type if you desire to do it, you can.
